Shakespeare Font Free Download

Shakespeare Font is based on the handwriting of William Shakespeare. It is suitable for setting text in English and other languages written in the Latin alphabet.

The first version of Shakespeare Font was designed by David Nalle in 2002. Nalle based his design on an example of Shakespeare’s signature, which he found in the archives of the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C.

This typeface is available in both regular and bold weights. It is also available as a dingbat font, which includes ornamental characters based on Shakespeare’s handwriting. This typeface is identical to the cyttah font.
