Ikaros Font Free Download

Ikaros font is a sans-serif typeface designed by Akira Kobayashi in 2002. The Ikaros family consists of 6 weights, from ExtraLight to Black, and is ideally suited for branding, headlines, and web applications.

Akira Kobayashi began his career in the late 1970s as an in-house type designer at D. Stempel AG, Germany’s oldest type foundry. You can also utilize the typeface in your display designs and pair it with other typefaces like building font which is much similar to this and has a pairing personality.

In 2002, he established his own type foundry, Type Associates. Akira Kobayashi has won numerous awards for his type designs, including the Type Directors Club New York Gold Medal (2006) and the Tokyo TDC Prize (2002).
