Cousine Font Free Download

Cousine Font is a sans-serif typeface created by Steve Matteson. The name “Cousine” is French for “cousin”. Cousine was designed as a legible alternative to Courier New and other monospaced fonts, with a taller x-height and wider character spacing.

Cousine Font was created in 2004 and released by Ascender Corporation the following year. The font is named after Matteson’s great-grandmother, who was of French-Canadian descent. Cousine has been used in a variety of publications, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Harvard Business Review.
