Bombardier Font is a sans serif typeface designed by Eric Gill in 1928. The family includes 12 styles: 6 weights (light, regular, medium, bold, black, and ultra black) with corresponding oblique styles.
Bombardier Typeface was originally created for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER), a British railway company. It was used on signs, tickets, and timetables. The typeface was later adopted by other railways, including the Southern Railway and the London Midland and Scottish Railway.
